ENG - Marie-Hélène Elleboudt is fascinated by sound and experimental music. It crossed her path under various occasions and manners, in between travels abroad and the interims she did to finance these travels.
Up until she decides to settle down in the city That is when she gets intensily involved in the artistic network of Brussels, mostly on a voluntary basis. She works at the "Bains::Connective" where she is the founder and curator of 'Musiclab' a platform for experimental and improvised music. It is through this activity that she comes to be in close contact with artistic research and experimentation.
She later works as production manager for 'Champ d’Action', an Antwerp based ensemble for contemporaty music, and for 'Q-O2', a workspace for soundart in Brussels. These collaborations have further sharpened her experience in the worlds of sound and music.
Marie-Hélène then chooses to pull back a little to go and live on the countryside.
She has long been mere ‘spectator’ of the artistic realm. Now she feels encouraged by her environment, and by a deeper urge inside of her, to get down to it herself. Although she doesn’t master any particular form of artistic expression, she does have a good ear and eye.
She gradually comes in contact with various therapeutic, and later spiritual movements, and eventually finds a way to combine and express both the artistic and spiritual sides in her.
